UTLOT Study Memo
As I have stated in prior comments on the unique roles that UTLOT members play, and of the austere situations in which UTLOT members may find themselves, I have tried to consider some of the key subjects in which they may need greater support from me.
My understanding of Israel and the end times began in 1976. Since that time I have studied the works of credible theological scholars of whom have demonstrated a great understanding of the special place that Israel has in God’s plan for the ages, as well as of the Jewish prophets who told of God’s instructions to Israel. Such prophecies relate to Israel, the coming Messiah, the Tribulation and the literal and earthly Davidic KIngdom, which is also known as the Messianic Kingdom, the Millennium, and the Kingdom of God.
If you will search my Eternity Page, “About My References,” you will notice that many of my preferred scholars have a history of being graduates or professors of Dallas Theological Seminary, which was founded by Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer (1871-1952) in 1924, which was established on a foundation of “Israel And The End Times,” a theology of which I also subscribe. Many professors at DTS have worked there for more than forty years. DTS Doctors John Walvoord, J. Dwight Pentecost, Charles Ryrie, Thomas Constable and others, have gained the respect of their peers in other Seminaries of the same theological mindset.
My writing direction is following the course of “Israel And The End Times.” I am finishing the Prophecy of Isaiah, who was the most detailed writer of Messianic prophecy. My next subject will be the Gospel of Matthew, which was written to Jewish believers in Christ, to affirm to them of the validity of Christ being the chosen king of the kingdom to come. Also in Matthew, we find the facts of the coming kingdom, and a nutshell of the Tribulation which will precede the Davidic Kingdom. We will then move onto the Book of Revelation which will show details off the Godly tribulation judgments (seals, trumpets, bowls), with the return of Christ to earth to defeat Satan and his supporters, and to establish the Kingdom on earth that was promised to Israel in 2 Samuel 7:8-16, and was discussed with the Disciples of Christ in Acts 1:6, “Lord, ” is it at this time that you are restoring the kingdom to Israel?’ (Notice that the Kingdom will be of the Abrahamic covenantal promise, that will exist between God and Israel, which will also be a blessing to Gentiles.)
